EP 25: Long-Term Care Advice from Matt McCann

Medicare open enrollment begins today (Oct. 15) and ends Dec. 7. It’s just one part of retirement planning. Long-term care is another and Matt McCann joins Simon Says to give advice and tips what we should do now to plan for what happens during our golden years.

Matt McCann is recognized as one of the nation’s leading Long-Term Health Care (LTC) specialists and a nationally known speaker on Long-Term Health Care issues. Since 1998, Matt has been a leader in finding solutions for the physical, emotional and financial burdens LTC places on the American Family.

He experienced firsthand the emotional and financial impact of Long-Term Care when his mother required care in a nursing home following an illness at age 59. He understands how Long-Term Care will impact you, your assets, your family and your lifestyle.

Later this week, we’ll have an episode on Medicare insurance. My full-time work is for UnitedHealthcare as a Part D Prescription Drug Plan advocate and I’ll give you tips what to do if you’re turning 65, if you are already in the Medicare program but thinking do you have enough coverage, and what to do when you have coverage.

in the meantime, share this episode with your friends on social media and donate if you can to help me offset expenses of publishing valuable and educational interviews with experts.
